Chapel

So today I sang in chapel... it was quite the surprise. Here I am, walking into the sanctuary and about to head up to the balcony to do sound, when I look at stage. There I see Mr. Dalton and Ashley Podo waving at me to come up to the stage. I allowed the look of puzzlement to take over my face. When I got to them they asked me to sing.

"Hey!!! You wanna sing today? We could really use you!", Mr. Dalton said, Podo was nodding in agreement.

"...I guess... Are they the same songs as before?", I questioned cautiously.

"No, but you should know one of them and the others aren't hard. I'm sure you've heard them before, anyways.", Mr. Dalton replied encouragingly. I sighed and agreed. How bad could it be?

He was right. I did know the three songs. Two of them better than the other, though. We started off with one of the songs I knew pretty well. Sadly, we had sound difficulties... The next song was much better. It was Marvelous Night(one of my favorites). Then we came to the last song... I knew the song but not very well; I only knew the words for the chorus. I think I pretty much looked like an idiot. I couldn't see the words because I'm near-sided and can't see far away. Yup, I looked pretty stupid. But in the end it's about praising God, not me.

So after we sang, I quickly got off stage and went up to the balcony. Morgan, Wesley, and Alexa were already there sitting in some of the chairs. When I came over, they were quick to warn me that we were being watched. Sure enough, Dr. Warren was on the balcony too. He was over on the right side. Since he was watching, I didn't want it took look like we were just sitting there doing nothing so I took action. I hopped on balcony camera. *dramatic music from young frankenstein* Yes, balcony camera. Never before had I done that. I was always on floor camera, but this time I tried something new. Only thing is, I don't think I did very well... Though my three techi friends tried to convince me otherwise. Blacony camera was definitely a lot harder than floor.

So as you can see, I had a rather interesting chapel experience.
